Francis and I met in med-school and were drawn together by a mutual love for all things geek culture. When not spearheading the eHealth and mentorship ventures that are MedSimple and EdgeOnCollege, Francis is busy establishing the lore and mythos of the Healing Blade. As project lead and creative director, he is responsible for cross referencing each and every antibiotic / bacterial (apothecary / pestilence) interaction there is on the platform, insuring that these are exhaustively researched. In addition to being evidence-based, each relationship is further elaborated by a backstory explaining both the artistic choices behind each creature (the visual mnemonic meme) and the story associated with each (the narrative mnemonic meme). Yeah, we know – he’s pretty damn hardcore.
